Should my Dell XPS15z have wireless display capability?

Hi,

3/4 years ago I purchased a Dell XPS15z laptop with the following specs:

Intel Core i7-2640M CPU (2.80GHz)

Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000

Nvidia GeForce GT 525M

Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 #2 wireless adapter

Intel 6 series/C200 series Chipset Family

I understand that WiDi and wireless desktop use was an optional feature on the laptop (I was not aware of this at the time), but I do not know whether my system had the option or not. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and bought a new TV. I found the TV had miracast capability so decided to see if my laptop was able to work with it. I ran the Intel WiDi compatibility checker and it said everything should work fie with my system, and I found that I have an Intel WiDi program on my computer installed when the laptop was first made (which I can't seem to open, but there are many files in 'program files').

My issue is that when I run the WiDi updater it then tells me the system is not compatible. I also tried to install the driver/software manually but it does not work with Windows 10 apparently, and the WiDi Pro (which should) also says that the laptop is not compatible. I have tried searching for devices as well.

Firstly, is my laptop WiDi compatible? And secondly how do I get it to work?

Thanks in advance!
