I talked to a Dell Representative using Dell Chat, I was told that I need an upgrade but then I was told that there no solution to the problem. So now I'm even more confused that before. Dell also says that they don't have Drivers for the 64-bit Sound Blaster Audigy Advanced MB, then he said it was a compatibility issue, it all ended with him telling me I need the software upgrade. Does anybody have a fix or an alternative. I have sound but when I had the Soundblaster it sounded better and I had more control over how it "came out" as in I could adjust the bass amount, change the room type, the eax effects, etc.
All the threads i've searched, even creative's sound blaster forum say there is NO 64 bit support or driver for sound blaster advanced audigy MB.You would need to purchase the X-Fi Xtreme expresscard audio for notebooks card,in order to get 64 bit.The card which creative and dell no longer sell because of a newer card(which does not support the sound blaster) would have to be purchased thru ebay or similar online seller.
