Slow WiFi on Dell XPS 13 9360 with Killer 1535 WiFi

Hello,

I purchased a brand new Dell XPS 13 9360 a couple of months ago and I am experiencing terribly slow WiFi on my Windows 10 using the latest Killer drivers from http://www.killernetworking.com/driver-downloads/category/other-downloads

darac,

Our Killer Package on our website has an updated version of our driver (12.0.0.296), which has been validated to fix a wireless drop issue that was present in 12.0.0.279. If you could please contact us directly, we can get some detailed diagnostic information from you and look to see what else could be causing your slow WiFi in Windows 10.

I got my Dell XPS 13 (9360) a few weeks ago. I didn't upgrate any drivers and my WiFi is fast like tornado. My driver details are: Qualcomm Atheros Communications Inc., ver. 12.0.0.279, driver date is 30/08/2016.

If i was you i would uninstall that driver you downloaded from killernetworking.com and then download the same driver i use:

Good luck!

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Could you tell me the exact version of Windows you are using?

Hi Thomas,

It's nice to see someone from wireless card vendor to watch these forums. I'll definitely contact you and provide any diagnostic you may need. Yes, I am using version 12.0.0.296 of the driver.

Has anybody had their wireless card refusing to auto-connect to known networks following wake from sleep or just computer startup?

Unfortunately not, eventually I replaced the Killer card with an Intel one. Works perfectly now.

Thanks darac, I'll contact Dell and see if they can help first.

What did you put in, an Intel 8265 or an Intel 7265 as per  www.windowscentral.com/dell-xps-wifi-fix-upgrade-wireless

I used an Intel 7265 (ordered from Amazon) and I followed that guide as well.
