Sound problem in Dell inspiron 15R
I bought my dell laptop almost one year ago, but since last day, I can't hear any sound on my laptop. I haven't uninstalled windows sound driver. Windows 7 64 bit is installed on laptop. Could anyone please clarify what's the reason of this problem, and how can I solve this issue?

It depends on many cases though you could check the link given to do troubleshooting. Anyway, have you tried plugging a speaker to see if it works?

I had this problem with my new Inspiron 15 with Windows 8. I uninstalled the speaker drive and reinstalled a new drive from the Dell site. So far so good.
