I have a problem.
I hear high-frequency sound (irritable squeak) that produces a voltage converter during the hight-load on the processor.
Can I get a repair under warranty?
(Laptop have 3 years warranty.)
I like to suggest you run the Diagnostic tool on your computer to find any hardware problem that might be causing the squeak.
A) Turn off the computer
B) Power on the computer, quickly tap the F12 key continuously. You should be in the diagnostic screen. Please report back any error codes.
Contact Technical Support:
you understood me incorrectly!
Computer completely works fine and all functions are working.
But there is a nasty high-squeak, which is annoying.
Actually, this is not a peep from the speakers, but comes from electric components.
My question is, are this case covered under warranty?
My apologies. I thought it might be a high annoying noise that you want to correct. As you noticed in my first post, I did post a link to technical support and a link to check your warranty status.
Hopefully, one of the Dell rep, Rock Star or another knowledgeable person can answer your question.
