Hi lizkim270,

Welcome to the Dell Community Forum,

We apologize for the inconvenience, we request you to try steps mentioned below to fix the issue.

1. Please remove any external devices connected  (Like Printers , scanners , USB media/ HDD , optical media)

2. Turn off the computer completely and remove the battery and disconnect the AC Adapter

3. Since nothing is connected press and hold the Power button for a minute which will release the flea power present inside the computer

4. Insert the battery back in, connect the AC adapter and power on the computer

5. At the Dell logo press the F2 and get into the BIOS screen

6. Change the SATA operation in BIOS, from Intel Smart Response to AHCI.

7. Save changes in BIOS.

8. Reboot the system

9. Go back into Bios (F2) and change SATA operation from AHCI  to Intel Smart Response.

10. Save the changes

11. Reboot the system.

12. System should boot normally into Windows.

Try couple of times and make sure system is booting to Windows normally.

Note: Please let me know if the system is able to boot to Windows after following the above steps, as we need to perform few more steps within Windows.

Do reply us back with the findings.
