Studio 1537 - keyboard flexes in use

Hi,

The keyboard is bowed up in the middle, presumably as a result of the method used to secure it to the chassi.

This means that the keyboard centre section is higher that the two sides, and that the keyboard flexes downward when typing at the centre.

How do I fix this design or manufacturing fault?

regards

Don

Just purchased a Dell laptop (17") and the firsts thing I noticed is how miniature the keyboard was for the size of the actual computer. Lots of wasted space that makes no sense to me. The second thing I noticed was that it was bowed in the middle, causing a lot of bounce with those keys. Did you ever find a resolution, or just get used to it?
