Studio 1737 WiFi Card no power

Have been having issues with my 1737 laptop.  First, the battery issue where the mobo had to be replaced.  Now, the wifi card has gone south.  Been online chatting with CS about the issue all day today, and their "fix" was to reseat the wifi card inside the laptop.

Still does not power on.  Has anyone else had issues with this happening?

Here's what has been done to date:

  • reflashed bios
  • reseated wifi card
  • verified driver was latest and greatest

Still no power and CS is dragging their heals on dispatching someone to R&R the wifi card.

Really disappointed that this laptop has had so many major issues.

Any further help would be great, but I think it's a faulty wifi card.

Thanks,

WiFi card was r&r'ed, and still no power to the wifi card.   Tried the Function+F2, and it still does not work.  Is there any other "tweak" that anyone knows of to force the wifi card to power up?  Wifi light still will not illuminate.
