Studio XPS16: No more RGBLED screens; what should I request for the warranty replacement?

I have a Studio XPS16 Laptop, purchased XMas 2009.  Now, 7 months later, the XPS16 is fried, and Dell is replacing it under warranty (there's lots of problems with it including burns and fire hazards!)

Unfortunately, the most crucial component is the RGBLED screen and there aren't any available for the replacement.  Dell's trying to pawn off the FHD-WLED screen on me as the same thing...even though RGBLED cost $200 more than FHD and is vastly superior

I'm trying to negotiate with Dell CS to ensure the replacement isn't crippled.  I'm also trying to gauge the success rate of specific requests, so I'd appreciate any info and precedents you have.  TIA for your help!

1. Dell offered me a minor CPU upgrade, from an i7-7xx to i7-8xx, but I really
want to ensure it's a 2010-model-CPU with WiDi (Wireless Display).
Can anyone tell me which 2010 CPU's are available with the XPS16
,
and the best way to convince Dell to use a modern CPU in a replacement?

2. My original GPU (Radeon 4670) is no longer a purchase option.  I asked for
    a Radeon 5730 instead, but Dell "won't build an i7 / R5730 combination"
due to "heat issues" (although that's the only option available on their site!)
Has anyone had problems (especially heat) combining an i7 and Radeon 5730?

And if so, are there any other video options above the R4670?

3. Is it possible for Dell to replace a 500GB HD with a 256GB SSD in this case?

Thanks!
