Touchpad Buttons

The area over the buttons on the touchpad is also part of the touchpad and the cursor moves whenever I try and click on something.  Is there any way to disable the touchpad area over the buttons??  I've looked and can't find anything.  I have an XPS 15 laptop running Windows 10.

From what I can see, the area that is marked with a line through it is the location of the 'physical' button controls for right and left click.  Since the touchpad is an all in one design, the entire surface of the touchpad is technically active for moving the mouse and may require changing how you use the touchpad.  You can go into control panel and see if there are any options you wish to change to make things a bit easier for you, including reducing the touchpad sensitivity.  To get into the 'real' control panel for windows 10, hover your mouse cursor over the windows 'start' flag and right click, then select control panel, then mouse from the old style control panel and play with the settings there?
