Touchpad light won't turn on (Vostro 3560) - SOLVED!
So I did a complete format on my Vostro 3560, got everything working properly, including the Touchpad. But the Orange light from the touchpad will not turn on.... I can control the touchpad, and turn it on/off using the Function Key Shortcut, but the light remains turned off the whole time...any thoughts? Running Windows 7 Professional Thanks in advance!

Hi Leolloama,
Thanks for the post! Was the light working before the format? After the format / reinstall, were you able to install the latest driver updates for the system, specifically the systems touchpad drivers?
Dell Vostro 3560 TouchPad Driver

While it should not have been effected by a hard drive format, updating the systems BIOS to the latest may help.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks

Ah, great! I updated the Elantech Touchpad driver and it worked!
I did not have this update when I formated, I was using the previous release.
Great, thanks for the help!
