Touchpad on new Inspiron 3558 will NOT stay disabled
Hello - I have a new Dell Inspiron 3558 that came with Windows 10 installed. For some reason the touchpad keeps turning itself back on despite turning EVERYTHING off under settings. It's not always on but when it does turn itself on it competes with the Mouse and is becoming annoying. I'd appreciate your assistance. Thanks

Please try modifying the settings for the touchpad, to disable the touchpad functionality when an external mouse is connected to the system. Have you tried a BIOS update possibly to the most recent one. In case you are trying a BIOS update, please make sure that the adapter is always plugged in and that the system is no interrupted during the process as it could damage the system settings.
