I've had an Inspiron 1525 since November. In January the track pad started to misbehave. Cursor is sluggish to respond to movements on the trackpad and sometimes it jumps or stutters. Nothing obvious has been done to the laptop software wise. I have checked BIOS settings and windows control panel settings - no obvious issues. Reinstalled driver which didnt work.
Additionally using an external mouse works fine.
Help and thanks.
Just got my new inspiron and 3 weeks on I have started to get the same problem. I also have tried reinstalling drivers etc. USB wireless Mouse working fine.
Does anyone have a fix for this.
I'd suggest you contact tech support about the problem Kevin emoticon.Idea.title
