While working on the issue of not being able to create recovery disks, Dell personnel recommended that I update the BIOS from A00 to A02. MISTAKE! Now my usb ports are not working. I just spent over 3 hours on the phone support line with tech support. They did everything including a full refresh of the system and could not resolve the issue which appears to be a problem with the drivers for the USB 3.0. We will be talking about a replacement machine in the next couple of days if they do not get this resolved.
