Unable to install conextant audio

i have Dell Vostro A840, when i formatted and reinstalled all drivers in Windows XP then it was unable to install 'Conextant Audio CX2056-12Z Rev: A00'  from dell cd, after successfully extracting all files an error is displaying like "Driver Installation Failed: Could not find the MEDIA device for this driver." please help to install audio driver, because my laptop speaker is not working without it.

Here is the XP version, R192894  (3.49.4.50, A01)

"You need the right driver."

It is the one I provided a link to. I don't think it can be found by Service Tag number because Dell does not support XP on the A840; however if one checks out the "Compatibility" of the driver it is listed for 3 models including the A840.

 

"If you have the right driver there is no way you can't install it."

After working this board for years I can tell you that just having the correct driver does not ensure an installation.
