Looks like from what I can find, maximum is 16GB, two 8GB modules.  However, this is just going by Inspiron 15 5000 series.  I cannot find your particular model that you have to know for sure, but I would imagine that it's right.

This is an Inspiron 5537.  Max is 2 8G modules, 16 total.

Needs DDR3L-12800 memory.

Thank you. I found the no - 15R 5537 at the bottom of  laptop. I will try this out.
