What would happen if I accidentally upgraded my dell inspiron 1420 bios from A9 to A10, knowing that my video card is not an nvidia (its intel)?

What would happen if I accidentally upgraded my dell inspiron 1420 bios from A9 to A10, knowing that my video card is not an nvidia (its intel)?

No problem.
The BIOS is the program that sets up the computer's basic operations, and has nothing to do with what video card you have. Some current BIOS updates appear to re-set the fan control of laptops using the problematic M8400/8500 Nvidia vidio chips, but this will not affect your Intel video.
