Video stutter - audio crackling both wireless & wired

I've had an issue since November 2014 on my new Dell XPS 8700 - Win 7 Pro 64 bit, 8G mem, Intel i7-4790, 3.60Ghz...BTW: No help from Dell support so I kept researching, downloaded a latency checker and have "misbehaving drivers on both: Dell Wireless 1703 802.11b/g/n (2.4Ghz)  & Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller... Only a temporary fix but I simply disable one or the other. I have to do this every day.

Go to: Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager > right click to disable either Dell Wireless 1703 802.11b/g/n (2.4Ghz)  or Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller >>> enable the other...voila! No more audio crackle or video stutter.

I'd like to find out what's causing this and how to permanently fix it...No other PC on our network has this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've had an issue since November 2014 on my new Dell XPS 8700

If that means that you got the PC before that date and there was no problem until that time, I would try removing the conflicting driver and installing older drivers that pre-dated the issue. That's all I can think of.

The forum won't allow you to delete the original so it is moot.

BTW, if you ever have a laptop with noise issues see our Choppy/Skipping Audio FAQ for suggestions.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'll post there but should I delete my original?
