Vostro 1720 replacement
A while ago I bought the Vostro 1720 Laptop and added the high res screen upgrade. Its now starting to get old but if i got a new laptop I would really love to keep the screen. Is it compatable with any other laptops?

Welcome to the community
In my opinion, it will be compatible to some new laptops but very limited. And if ever you are getting a new system, LCD should be 17 inches. I suggest before getting a new computer, ask the sales representative if your LCD will be compatible. By giving the Dell Part # of your high resolution LCD, they can determine if it can be installed to the system.
