WIN10 Latitude 5580, SATA operation RAID mode inaccessible boot device

I'm deploying our default win10 image to a Latitude 5580 and it won't boot when sata operation is set to the default RAID mode. I get inaccessible boot device. When I change it to AHCI and reapply the image it boots normally. Latest bios version. UEFI mode. Master image is created on UEFI vmware machine.

MDT used for appling the image.

Any idea?

Thanks, offcourse those laptops are not using multiple disk so RAID is not used, but I believe reading a discussion somewere that this default mode was recommended.

If the image was prepared with SATA operation as AHCI, it needs to stay that way - if you want to deploy images in RAID mode, you'll need to prepare a new image in RAID mode.  You can't swap modes without either reloading or by manually tweaking the registry (which is not a Microsoft-supported approach).
