Want Windows 7 not 10

Hello All

New here.  I just bought a great Precision 7510 but unfortunately opted for the Windows 10 option.  My primary purpose for this purchase was to run my Autodesk Inventor 2011.  I spent all my money on the laptop so can't afford to upgrade this software.  Inventor seems to have trouble with Windows 10 so I want to see if I can install Windows 7 instead?  Any advice?

Hi PATMARINE,

I have checked for the software compatibility with Win10 - on the Autodesk website, it does not list as being compatible with Win10 - see this link - http://autode.sk/29oAZfV

However, there are few forum threads that state it might work with Win10 - see here - http://bit.ly/29dv0Gm

There are few threads where people have managed to work the software version 2014 and above with win 10 - see this - http://autode.sk/29s24MC and http://bit.ly/29aoPSl

I would suggest, you could try writing in the autodesk forums, so you might possibly get some solution there.

If it came with Windows 10 Pro you can exhibit Downgrade rights to Windows 7 Pro.
