What SSD to install as system drive in Precision M6800 mobile workstation

Hi

I'm buying a refurbished Dell Precision M6800 mobile workstation and it only comes with a 5400rpm 1TB drive, I plan on using this for data only and want to install an SSD as a system drive. Would I be correct in saying any SATA3 2.5" drive would fit in the chassis, and just as important, be recognised by the system?
