What to do when the screen does not stand still
Hi :
Recently I purchased a Dell E6400 and I has been great .But last week it started having a problem when after a 5 minutes run the screen started running like old TV's.I have done everything to fix the problem but no luck so far.I reinstall Windows 7 also used Dell support to diagnose the issues but
everything seems to have no problem but after 5 minutes used,The screen start to run and start to fade and then freezes altogether.Has anyone encountered the same problem.I also replace the fan
but with no avail.Thanks for your response-Regards-Ali

Hi Ali,
Appreciate the trouble shooting steps tried.
Please connect an external monitor & check the display on it. Also check in the BIOS screen. Press F2 at startup to go to BIOS screen.
Also run diagnostics on the screen. To test the display shut the system down, next press and hold the letter ‘D’ on the keyboard and press the power button. This will initiate diagnostics on the display. Check the status of the display and revert.
