Unplug the adapter from the system -- does the LED stay on solid? If so, it's OK.
Plug into the system with the battery removed. If the light stays on solid and the system will start up, the battery is faulty -- replace it.
If the adapter is OK (step 1) and starts blinking when connected to the system even without the battery installed, the mainboard is faulty and will need to be replaced.
Could not start if i battery remove the battery...
I removed the battery and plug the charger to laptop. When I press the power button laptop could not start
And the charger light getting dim..
The mainboard needs to be replaced.
The part itself ranges between $120-200 depending on whether you have Intel or ATI video. If you have to pay a shop to replace the board, add another $100 or so in labor - at which point it may make more sense to replace the system, particularly given the age of the N5010.
I found the problem... Its with charger...
Thanks for all of your help & time... Finally its resolved...only problem was with my AC ADAPTER
