Why is the left quarter of screen black
Sporadically, after boot up, the left quarter of my XPS 15 screen is black. Sometimes it restores itself, but for now, it is staying off.

Connect an external monitor to your laptop and see what’s displayed.
If the external monitor’s picture looks good,—Your laptop display is bad.
could also be a bad video card.Reinstall the video card drivers. It could also be a corrupt OS.
