Windows 10 on Dell XPS 14

Hi,

I'm desperately in need of some help. I recently upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 on my laptop and it seems to have broken it. Windows 10 won't load, i tried downloading it again on USB and installing via the boot up sequence, tried repairing Win 10 which is says is not possible, tried re-installing which it says can't be done due to missing partition.  I'm now looking into fomating my HDD and create a new partition using the command prompt i can use while trying to re-install Win 10 but am worried about losing my drivers for my HDD and it not being recognised anymore.  Any ideas or help would be grately appreciated.
