XPS 13 9360 : Maxxaudio pro doesn't work anymore !

A few day ago, there has been a Realtek audio update in Windows 10.

Since then, Maxxaudio pro enhancements don't work anymore.

I experienced this problem on two units of XPS 13 9360 QHD+ i7 512/16.

Can you fix this as soon as possible ? I tried rolling back to previous drivers but even with the rolled back driver, Maxxaudio pro still don't work.

Did the update today do any good?

Can you start it from the apps listing?

Some folks believe it may be involved with Volume problems.  I haven't yet gotten the most recent update but I should have it in the next few minutes.

Edit:  I just updated the second system with today's updates and right now my older system is running the 12/11/2016 Realtek driver and the Inspiron 17 is still running the 12/1/2016 version, and MaxxAudio Pro seems to be still functional.

What update are you referring to ? I can't find any newer update than this one on the listing :

9360_Audio_Driver_7NFYT_WN32_6.0.1.7859_A00.EXE

It's an old version of the driver...

I am referring to Windows updates.  I don't check the Dell site very often unless I am having a problem.

Dell still shows the 6.0.1.7989 from the first of the month for my Inspiron 17.

The problem started when the Windows update occured. Since then, I tried Rolling back the drivers but Maxxaudio enhancements now don't work whatever I do.

Greg_FR,

Click the link below to download the Realtek card reader drivers Then go to device manager and update the the Realteck Audio Drivers. Also, The presets have moved under sounds, right-click on properties you will see equalizer options under enhancements when you have all the drivers installed.

RE: XPS 13 9360 : Maxxaudio pro doesn't work anymore !

Thank you Jesse.

I'm afraid I've already tried all the suggestions and nothing worked (clearing all cookies, reinstalling the app multiple times and many other things). It still just works with Firefox but not with chrome, edge or the windows 10 app.

I'm completely lost at this point. I'll try to disable the sound card, to use a bluetooth speaker, and to disable flash player tonight and will see what happens but I'm not very confident.
