XPS 15 9550 - Wifi drivers causing Bluescreen
So the wifi driver has caused a blue screen on my XPS 15 twice now. The blue screens happen at completely random points without warning. The windows minidump files point to bcmpciedhd63.sys as the cause. This is one of the files that is part of the drivers for the 1830 wireless adapter. Does anyone know of a solution to stop these blue screens? I am using the current driver, version 1.555.0.0.
Specs:
i7 6700hq
16 gb ram
1080p FHD display
Windows 10 Home
RTDaemons

Hello,
Same issue here ! (driver version 1.555.0.0 - with i7, 16Gb, QHD+, Win10 Pro)
Seems to happen when I "stress" the Wifi connection (about 30 MB/sec down)
I freshly reinstalled with the Dell official ISO, and have updated all drivers and UEFI with versions provided on Dell website.

Same issue! Blue screens started after updating to latest driers through Dell Command. Does rolling back the Broadcom 1830 driver to 1.519.0.0 help?

I have the same issue, did anyone found a solution?
Dell first exchanged the whole XPS15. After, Dell replaced my network card and SSD and I installed a fresh install of windows 10 afterwards. Still the issue remains. Using an externa wifi card, no problem...
Is it still the Wifi card with motherboard combination? Why aren't all xps 15 having issues?
I will no try to roll back the driver as suggested above. Hopefully this will help...
I would like to keep my xps, but if it keeps giving BSOD, there is no point..
Interesting BTW, that I stumbled upon this page stating that the 1.555 driver solved the BSOD on the wifi driver. So did the driver version before it... seems a problem that they are not able to solve, but are aware of...

Not one crash since rolling back to 1.519.0.0. The driver was the issue.

How is the Bluetooth audio on 1.519.0.0? The only issue I'm really having with my 9550 is the BT audio when using a microphone is *horrible*. It's definitely the laptop, because other BT devices do not have the issue.

I had the same issue with a brand new XPS 15.
Tech support told me to install the following drivers:
BIOS:
http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER03534936M/1/XPS_9550_1.1.19.exe
WiFi:
http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER03452565M/1/Communications_Driver_6XDK6_WN32_1.555.0.0_A03.EXE
Bluetooth:
http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER03358907M/1/Communications_Application_5PMW3_WN32_12.0.1.730_A01.EXE
Problem solved.
It's been several weeks since I updated those drivers so I can say that it was fixed.
As I read people with mixed feelings towards Dell tech support, I must say that in my case I wrote an email about this problem to tech support and I received an answer (which was also the right solution) in 24 hours.
