XPS 15 (9550) missing important Skylake feature (SST)

Intel introduced its new Speed Shift Technology (SST) with the brand new Skylake processors. The last major (1511) Windows 10 update supports SST.

With SST your system gets a performance boost from a few procents up to 40-50% in some scenario's, while power comsumption decreases! Who does not want to have SST?

Sadly SST is nog supported in our i7 XPS 15. It is not implemented. We need a bios upgrade to make it work. Than the XPS 15 becomes from good the great (performance and battery life).

Does Collin-H know if their are plans to implement SST?

This has been implemented in the XPS 13, it would be a huge mistake for Dell not to do it in the XPS 15. Let's see.

There are still no plan to implement SST? How about a statement from Dell about this?

When will Dell be updating the XPS 15 9550 BIOS to support Intel Speed Shift Technology?

This is a major power saving feature which increases responsiveness of CPU speed adjustments.
