XPS 15 9550 - no bootable device found after BIOS update to 1.22.21

So immediately after restarting my laptop after the BIOS update to 1.22.21 my device would not boot. I have ran the diagnostic tests and everything comes back fine. I have flashed updates to more recent and older BIOS updates. I have a hard time believing my SSD went bad after a year and a half.

Hi Knopey14,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to know that after BIOS update system is not booting. As you have already run diagnostic and that has passed please check the BIOS settings and also boot sequence just to be sure that the hard drive is the first boot device and depending on the operating system you have the secure boot is on, legacy boot or UEFI so that we can be sure if the hard drive has failed and help you replacing the same.

For me to better assist in troubleshooting, please click my DELL-username and send me a Private Message with the Dell Service Tag number and your email address.
