XPS 17 can't find Imaging Devices for the Webcam

I bought an XPS 17 and have loved the computer for years. When Windows 10 came out I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. From that point on, my webcam has never worked. I go through all of Dell Technical Support and find nothing that helps me. They simply state they will not support Windows 10 on this product. I have bought Dell for over 20 years. It is about time for me to buy a new Laptop. Unless someone from Dell can provide me some solution, I will leave Dell. I don't care if I bought this laptop with Windows 7. If you want to keep your customers, you make sure your hardware can work with all new Microsoft operating systems. Otherwise you anger your customers and they leave you.

RE: XPS 17 can't find Imaging Devices for the Webcam

Hi,

As informed by the Tech support XPS 17 has not been tested for Windows 10 operating system hence you will not find drivers for the hardware. We are sorry that we will not able to help you much in this case.
