XPS L702X Laptop Beeping Twice, Four Times, Then Shuts Off

I have a Dell XPS L702X laptop that will power on, beep twice, four times, then shut off.  All the beep codes I can find point to a memory issue.  I bought new RAM and tried it, no luck.  I have taken apart the laptop and made sure all connections are seated well, still no go.  I'm out of ideas at this point.  Any thoughts?  Suggestions?

If you bought memory from Crucial using their scanner, it is guaranteed to work. There could be bad slots on the motherboard. Dell is fussy about matching memory. The new memory might not be compatible. Try each original memory chip in one slot at a time to find the bad slot. Put it in slot one try to boot. Move to slot 2 and try to boot and so on with each chip. If no slot works, the motherboard might need replacing. This old model is not worth the expense. Buy a new laptop.

Were you able to get this resolved?  I am having the exact same problem and have replaced the motherboard and the ram.

Thanks
