XPS l502x not charging (Charger Light shuts off when connected to the laptop )
I have a Dell XPS L502X, suddenly my laptop is not charging, when I switch on the charger there is blue indicator shown in the charger but as soon as I plug the charger in my laptop the blue light shuts off.
I have tried another charger but same thing happened. I have tried to use my laptop without battery but same problem.

Thank you for writing to Dell Community Forum.
The issue is either with the motherboard or the DC-IN port of the system.
Can you check this adapter with another system to see if the light stays on when plugged into the system?

I have checked this charger with another system, it works fine. I have called technical support for this they are telling there is problem of reverse current. And DC port cost is ₹7000 and motherboard cost is ₹13000, why are you not repairing any parts just selling new ones for too much price.

The parts are always swapped out with new parts as this is a company policy.
Do let us know if you want to go ahead with the repair.
