XPS13 BIOS update fails
XPS13 9350 signature edition. Came with Windows 10 installed. Current BIOS at 1.3.3. SupportAssist indicates BIOS 1.4.4 is an "urgent install". Tried using support assist to install. It said "installing" and then "system will restart for finish installation". Screen goes blank, power light stays on, system never reboots. Manually downloaded the update myself, ran it, same result. BIOS is still at 1.3.3.

I'd suggest you don't try to force the BIOS update. You should report the problem to Technical Support in the link below. Hopefully one of the Dell rep see this thread and be of assistance.

Have exactly the same issue. Did you ever get a resolution? Inability to update is delaying the use of TB15 I recently purchased.

I tried again after a month or so and was able to get the BIOS update to work
