XPS15 Device Drivers (Video) Stopped Responding

I just upgraded my XPS-15 L502X laptop to Windows 10 and am experiencing intermittent issues with the Video Driver (NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 540M) not responding, locking up the system, and requiring me to most of the time having to do a hard restart. 

So far, it appears that the error only occurs when I have my external Dell ST2420L monitor connected to the notebook (whether directly to the laptop, or through my Kensington Docking station, which I removed from the equation in order to isolate the problem).

Help?
