Hi intelligent person,
Thank you for writing to Dell Community Forum.
After you press the power button, on the Dell logo screen, keep tapping the key. This will take you to the BIOS. In BIOS please check what is the status of the adapter / battery listed as.
Update the BIOS and chipset drivers to the latest from the Dell support site.
