brand new Inspiron 15, 5578 very slow
brand new Inspiron 15, 5578 very slow to do everything (boot, switch programs, internet) keeps freezing. The only think I've installed on it is Google Chrome. I ran diagnostics - the Quick test passed but the Extended Test timed out after an hour and a half.

Did the system come with McAfee LiveSafe?
If so, dump that and it should run appreciably better.

on my 17 5759 i found intel rapid storeage tech was a real drag on system uninstalled and way slicker
