dell 7000 series 7537 (VIDEO TDR FAILURE)

Hey guys,

I know my laptops old as ***, but has the model known to have faults once moving onto windows 10?

When I upgraded to windows 10 for free, all kinds of driver issues feel like they've happened. I cant use my laptop to game anymore, the 750M just won't work, and sometimes even a Youtube video will cause a VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers

Thank you for your message.

This system model has been tested for Windows 10 & should not have any issues with the OS.

Have you tried reinstalling the Video driver? If not follow these steps & check if this helps.

Download video driver here http://dell.to/2tAv38f & save to your desktop & the chipset driver from here http://dell.to/2talI84

Update the bios from this link http://dell.to/2taWx58 & restart the computer.

Open device manager – expand graphic adapter – right click on the NVidia driver & click on uninstall (check the box that says delete driver) do not restart the computer.

Install the chipset driver saved on your desktop followed by the video driver & then restart the computer.

Click on my Dell username & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address.
