dell Inspiron 1300 CPU upgrade
I was wondering if I would be able to upgrade my P4 M 1.6GHZ cpu that came with my Inspiron 1300 witha P4 2.93 GHZ/256/533 chip I took out of an old desktop motherboard, they are the same socket size, just wondering if they are compatible

No, totally incompatible. the 1300 takes Pentium M or Celeron M CPUs only.
