dell inspiron 1764 windows 7 need imaging device
my webcam doesn't work...infact it doesn't light up or do anything at all...during one of my many tries to get my computer to recgonize it, I discovered that I no longer have imaging device software...I have looked all over the internet and can't get a simple answer to the problem...So can anyone please help me?

Did you recently install/reinstall the opertaing system? If yes, did you install the drivers in the correct order? How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order
Also try reading...
Troubleshooting the Dell Webcam and Dell Webcam Central Software
Try running the Webcam Diagnostics
Did the webcam show in the symptom tree?
Any error messages?
Is your computer under warranty?
