dell studio 1537 Three Blinking lights Volume Up, Down, and Mute. Laptop Will Not Start Up At All.
My Dell Studio 1537 doesn't startup at all (Black Screen). Upon pressing the power button the media panel flips through lights and then settles with the mute, volume up, and volume down lights blinking continuously. Please Help I have turned the laptop upside down. I have taken the static electricity out of it. Battery is fully charged and I have tried both with and without the battery in. What could be wrong?

Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz
4 GB ram
320 GB hard drive
Windows Vista Home Premium (Supposed to be installed, and WORKING!)
ATI Radeon HD 3400
6 cell battery (Fully charged and working)

I have the same problem. I contacted Dell technical support and they said to remove the battery, remove the power cord, and then hold the power button for 10 seconds. They said the reason was static charge. It worked for the first time. Now again i have the same problem and i have to wait for about 10 mins before switching on. Then i am able to switch on my comp.
@ dell support, please help.
