The battery cells likely came from Sanyo (which no longer exists - it is now Panasonic).

Yes,it is now named Panasonic and will carry a manufacturer’s warranty if purchased from a 3rd party vendor. If you have purchased the battery directly from Dell then you would get a 1 year warranty,you could also provide me the dell order number.

I've purchased a Dell computer in Thailand from an electronics warehouse. However, I'm unsure if they are an authourised DELL distributor or not.

Can you confirm my laptop is an original and not a fake? How do I check this myself Please help.
