having visual issues

I've recently installed windows 10 on my Dell Inspiron n5110, and am now having issues with m display. after the installation the dell logo starts up. after the logo then comes the windows loading screen. once done loading the laptop display stays black. when I connect a monitor to the laptop the display shows. I've reinstalled all the drivers for the laptop and it still doesn't seem to be working. Any advice would be helpful. Thank in advanced.
