hibernate not working on inspiron 1564
I have purchased a new laptop dell inspiron 1564 with core i3 and 2GB DDR3 ram....when I select hibernate option in window 7's shutdown option, then monitor screen goes blank and laptop remains power on. Then I have to resort to power off manually....Next time window starts only in recovery mode taking last action as abrupt shutdown.
What should I do?

It may be a bad disk load from Dell and you will have to reinstall using the Dell PC Restore (Recovery Partition) on the hard drive - accessed by F8 at initial boot up. It doesn't happen very often but occasionally it does and this usually fixes it.
However, with a new PC your best option is to call Dell Support first.

It may also be noted that I have purchased this laptop with out OS. I installed windows7 manually. Would doing F8 and recovery solve my hibernation problem. Also when I try to run MS games..following messages pop up
" Hardware acceleration is either disabled or not supported by your video card driver, which could slow game performance. Make sure that you have the latest video card driver installed and hardware acceleration is turned on."
What should I do to solve these problems of hibernation and above pop-up.
