how to Install an Fingerprint reader powerbultoon cover for at My Dell precision i7 940Qm extreme

I have an M6500 extreme with a 940QM i7 cpu an like to know if my M6500 is compatable for an fingerprint resder , an can exchange the the normal power button frontcover for a front cover with an fingerprint reader on it .. so far as I finger out it will fit , but will it also work ?? when I install the software drivers . the main question is : is my M6500 extreme ready for it . ? has any one experianse with this or know if this is possible . ?? regards mike
