laptop warantee on keypad very pathetic from dell

we purchased one dell vostro laptop 2420 from dell. within 10 days of purchase the keys of laptop is coming out automatically. when we asked dell about the problem its executive says the product is not covered under warantee. Firstly the customer care takes too much time in supporting you. we inititated the chat also and the answer is not satisfactory. A keypad is part of laptop and if its keys are coming out automatically its manufacturing fault and dell must give the warantee. But it seems Dell does not care for its customer and is engaged in cheating its.
