latitude c540/c640 modem driver
hi gud am, i bought a laptop slighty used laptop and cds were not given to me. my modem cant be detected. cn u help where to find the installer for my laptop modem

Hi,
The modem may have been removed if faulty. You will see it in Device manager as PCI comunications device. Have a look under the door in the base, the modem is the small card held in with 2 screws. If you can see a brand on it, ( there could be 3 different brands fitted ) look for the correct driver at Support Tools to the left.
