mSATA on Inspiron 15R SE 7520

Can someone at dell please confirm if my board has a mSATA connection. I'll PM my service tags when requested.

There has been quick a bit of different information, i.e. if the board was brought while mSATA was an option (but not selected), there will be an empty connector.

As per the first post, I would prefer if someone at dell can check my service tags for the specific hardware I currently have and confirm. This option is a published acceptable answer as per http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3518/t/19475074.aspx so I believe my request  is fair.

Only if you ordered the system with an mSATA drive is the daughterboard with the connector present.  If you ordered the system with just a hard drive, it is not present in the system.

Only the 77xx 17" series come with mSATA connectors by default.  On all of the 15" chassis systems, the daughterboard with the mSATA port is present ONLY if you buy the system with an mSATA drive.

If you want to upgrade your mSATA drive you're set.  If you don't have an mSATA drive now, you will need the mSATA daughterboard.
