I ran SupportAssist. Everything checked out OK. I think it is a Windows 8.1 problem/. I had a BSOD crash 3 times. The last time I had to reload everything. The last time, the system did a refresh and load 139 updates. That problems appears to be fixed. This is a new machine.
Do I need to check with the Microsoft Community concering the machine lock problem.
Hi, Yes you can deffinitely check with MS community. meanwhile If you have the BSOD dump files, please PM us as an attachment. As the hardware diagnostics have passed, we need not suspect any hardware here. Regards

Would request to check with MS. Do keep us posted .
But before you do that, could you please run the hardware diagnostics from outside windows.
Go to f12 menu and select diagnostics.

It mysteriously stopped locking. I am not going to worry about it, unless it restarts. Thanks for the concern.
