"Dell Factory Image Recover and DataSafe options" is no longer available
The partition where windows 7 recedes was formatted but the recovery partition is still intact. How can I use the recovery partition to format this laptop without having the "Dell Factory Image Recover and DataSafe" option

You'll need a Windows disc with the same version of Windows you had originally. Then see
smsoftdev-solutions.blogspot.com/.../how-to-restore-dell-factory-image-when.html

That works when the original OS was VISA in my case it is Windows 7.

The same process will work for either Vista or 7.

But there is no tools folder in the recovery partition

Maybe need to unhide the hidden folders option from Folder options to view the hidden tools folder

I did unhide the hidden folder but still there is no tools folder... I really appreciate your help
